GFB T9208 Hybrid Dual Outlet Blow-Off Valve
Hybrid Dual Outlet Blow-Off Valve – Adjustable Sound and Performance
Turbocharged engines require an efficient method of relieving excess boost pressure during throttle lift to maintain drivability and protect turbocharger components. The GFB T9208 Hybrid Dual Outlet Valve combines multiple valve configurations into a single compact unit, allowing both sound and performance characteristics to be tailored to the vehicle setup.
Three-Valve Functionality in One Unit
The Hybrid design allows the valve to be configured as:
- A fully recirculating diverter valve for quiet, OEM-style operation
- A dual outlet valve combining recirculation and atmospheric venting
- A full atmospheric blow-off valve for maximum sound
Progressive Valve Operation
The recirculation port opens first during light throttle lift to maintain smooth airflow and stable engine behaviour. As boost pressure increases, the atmospheric port opens to efficiently release excess pressure, improving response without sacrificing drivability.
Improved Throttle Response and Boost Control
By improving boost sealing and allowing controlled pressure release, the T9208 helps sharpen throttle response and improve boost recovery between gear changes compared to basic factory valves.
Durable and Fully Serviceable Construction
Manufactured using precision-machined components and high-quality sealing materials, the T9208 is designed to withstand repeated heat and pressure cycles and is fully serviceable for long-term reliability.
