BMW LIVE maps are used with selected later-generation BMW navigation systems fitted across G-series models including 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7 and 8 Series, X3, X4, X5, X6, X7 and Z4.

To check the map version in your BMW, go to your iDrive Navigation View, open the Settings Menu and scroll down to Navigation System Version. You will see the region, map type and year of your current map.
