Recirculating Diverter Valve
GFB Mach 2 TMS Recirculating Diverter Valve
The GFB Mach 2 TMS Recirculating Diverter Valve is a proven performance upgrade for turbocharged vehicles that use a factory bypass or diverter valve. It is designed to improve boost control, throttle response and reliability while retaining full recirculation for quiet, factory-like operation.
This valve is commonly used on classic and modern performance platforms such as the Nissan Skyline R31, R32, R33 and R34, Mazda 3 MPS, Mazda 6 MPS, Mazda CX-7, Mitsubishi Galant VR-4 and Mitsubishi Eclipse (1G), where improved boost response is desired without the noise associated with atmospheric blow-off valves.
Improved Boost Response with TMS Technology
Factory diverter valves often operate in a basic open-or-closed manner, which can lead to boost leaks, slower recovery between gear changes and inconsistent throttle response. The Mach 2 addresses these shortcomings using GFBβs TMS (Turbo Management System).
TMS allows the valve to open progressively in response to boost pressure rather than acting as a simple on/off valve. This results in faster boost recovery after gear changes, smoother power delivery during partial throttle inputs and improved drivability in everyday use.
Quiet OEM-Style Operation
Unlike vent-to-atmosphere blow-off valves, the Mach 2 fully recirculates excess boost pressure back into the intake system. This helps maintain stable air-fuel ratios, prevents hesitation or stalling and keeps induction noise to a minimum.
Built for Long-Term Reliability
High boost pressures and elevated intake temperatures can quickly degrade factory plastic diverter valves. The Mach 2 is engineered to withstand these conditions using robust materials and precision machining, making it suitable for both standard and modified engines.
- CNC-machined billet aluminium valve body
- High-temperature diaphragm construction
- Carefully calibrated spring rates for consistent boost holding
- Designed for long-term reliability under boost
The result is a recirculating diverter valve that delivers measurable performance improvements while retaining refinement, reliability and everyday usability.
