High-Performance Internal Wastegate Actuator for Subaru WRX STI

The GFB WGA 7305 is designed to improve boost control on turbo systems with an internal wastegate by increasing actuator “control authority” over the wastegate flap. This helps resist the wastegate being pushed open by exhaust backpressure during spool-up and at higher RPM.

Important: Installation will increase boost pressure and ECU tuning is required.

Improves the “Area Under the Boost Curve”

A larger effective diaphragm area helps the actuator control the wastegate more effectively, improving response and reducing boost taper at higher RPM compared with many factory actuators.

Turnbuckle Adjustment + Spring Options

Supplied with three springs and a turnbuckle pre-load adjustment, the WGA 7305 allows the base boost pressure to be configured and adjusted from 5psi to 24psi, without the usual hassle of constant actuator removal for minor changes.

Additional Turbo Compatibility Note

In addition to the WRX STI model coverage, GFB notes it will also fit most single-scroll IHI VF turbos.

Tuning Required

Although this is a physical bolt-on part, it functions as a tuning tool. It will increase boost pressure, therefore ECU tuning is required.
