The following firmware (1) , improves the functionality, such as FM Radio Text, and stability of the RNS510 however as it was compiled after the Touareg ceased using the RNS510, it no longer has support for the Touareg Reversing Camera module and as a result the software load will cause the Reversing Camera to be highly intermittent  To the point of being virtually useless.

STEP 1.    Load: Firmware AU_FW_5238_90_5_5.iso    This is a modified version of firmware 5238 which will load on ALL hardware versions up to C12. 

STEP 2.    Load: Firmware  2850_gw_all.iso       This firmware Gateway Patch is to correct the Reversing Camera Issues with Touareg RNS510 units after Firmware Version 2850.  Please ensure that firmware downgrades are enabled on the target RNS510 using VCDS or equivalent otherwise this will not load.  

If you brick the unit then... STEP 3.    Software Load Failure  FIX Cd.   Used to recover from failed SWL of RNS510.
