* Installation note: When installing a GFB valve, it must be installed in the opposite orientation to the factory plastic Bosch valve β i.e. air must enter the GFB valve at the bottom, and discharge through the sides.

GFB pioneered the dual outlet βHybridβ design to solve a common problem: atmosphere-venting valves can cause stalling, backfiring, and poor drivability on many airflow-meter (MAF) vehicles. The Hybridβs staged outlets help reduce these issues, while still delivering a strong blow-off sound when driven harder.
Configurable venting
The T9225 can be configured to suit your setup:
- Full recirc for factory-style quiet operation
- 50/50 for balanced sound and drivability
- Full atmosphere for maximum blow-off sound
Why it works
By staging the outlets so the recirc path opens before the atmosphere port, the Hybrid design helps minimise the rich/over-fuel behaviour that can happen when metered air is vented out of the system on MAF-equipped vehicles.
