XForce Exhaust Options
Cat-Back Exhaust Systems
A cat-back system replaces the exhaust from the catalytic-converter area rearward. Depending on the vehicle, an XForce cat-back may include centre pipework, resonators, rear mufflers, exhaust valves and replacement tips. Cat-back systems are commonly chosen to change exhaust tone and reduce restrictions in the rear section without replacing the original catalytic converter.

VAREX® Valved Exhaust Systems
VAREX uses a butterfly-valve mechanism inside a compatible muffler to redirect exhaust flow between quieter and more direct flow paths. This gives the driver control over exhaust volume rather than forcing one fixed sound level for every drive.
Compatible VAREX systems may be operated using the supplied controller or an available SmartBox, depending on the product. XForce states that the SmartBox can provide smartphone control and automatic valve adjustment using inputs such as engine speed, throttle position and vehicle speed. Compatibility and included control equipment differ between systems.
Downpipes and High-Flow Exhaust Components
Selected turbocharged European applications are available with replacement downpipes, high-flow catalytic-converter options and related front-section components. These products can alter exhaust flow, emissions performance, noise and tuning requirements. Read the product description carefully and confirm whether ECU calibration or off-road use is specified for that application.

Resonator Deletes, Tips and Accessories
For drivers not ready to replace the complete exhaust, selected XForce applications include resonator-delete pipes, replacement exhaust tips, valve-control accessories and other model-specific components.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
What is XForce VAREX?
VAREX is XForce's patented valved-muffler technology. A butterfly valve redirects exhaust flow through different internal paths, allowing compatible systems to vary exhaust sound and flow.
-
Do all XForce exhausts include VAREX?
No. XForce sells both conventional fixed-flow exhaust systems and VAREX-equipped systems. Check the product name and description to confirm whether a valve, controller or SmartBox is included.
-
What does the VAREX SmartBox do?
For compatible VAREX mufflers, the SmartBox adds Bluetooth smartphone control and programmable valve operation. XForce lists manual adjustment and automatic control based on RPM, throttle position and vehicle speed, with additional functions depending on the current SmartBox version and installation.
-
Are XForce systems made from stainless steel?
Many XForce European exhaust systems use stainless-steel construction, including selected 304-grade systems. Materials differ between products, so rely on the specifications shown on the individual listing rather than assuming every component uses the same grade.
-
Will an XForce exhaust fit my vehicle?
Fitment is application-specific. Confirm the vehicle model, generation, engine, body style and production year against the product listing. Contact us before ordering if any detail is unclear.
-
Will I need an ECU remap?
A rear cat-back system does not automatically require ECU tuning. Downpipes, catalytic-converter changes and more extensive exhaust modifications may require tuning or other supporting changes depending on the vehicle and product. Follow the individual product information.
-
Are all XForce products legal for road use?
No universal statement can cover every product, vehicle and Australian jurisdiction. Noise and emissions requirements vary, and some performance components may be intended for off-road or motorsport use. Check the product description and applicable local requirements before installation.
Find the Right XForce Exhaust
Start with the vehicle-specific products above. Check the model, generation, engine and body style carefully, then review whether you want a conventional cat-back or the additional sound control of a VAREX system.
