Audi Q7 Night Vision Camera

Brand new thermal night vision camera for Audi Q7 4M

Probably every person who uses their car on a regular basis has experienced the discomfort of driving in the twilight or at night. What is a perfect background for Count Dracula, the Cullen clan, and plenty other creatures thriving in the dark, frequently give many a driver that jitters and may even discourage from taking longer trips.

Luckily, some drivers decided to come in aid to those who dread driving in the dark. The Audi team spent months conducting lots and lots of exhaustive trials and tests to give their clients the best product possible. The key asset of this system is a thermal camera that reacts to the temperature and the heat, so it can “feel” if there are any live objects ahead. If there are, they are converted into a black-and-white image, and you can see it on an optimal display situated between a speedometer and a rev counter. The camera can cover up to 300 meters, around four wingspans of 747, so it is much more efficient than a regular set of high-beam headlights that pass though roughly the distance that Usain Bolt cuts in less than 10 seconds, i.e. 100 meters. Additionally, after detecting a potential threat, the system sends an audible signal, so you not only see but hear the potential danger.

The colour scheme used here is similar to the warnings that we know from the traffic lights. If a person is detected in front of a car at a distance of about 100 meters, i.e. the length of a wing-to-wing width of a smaller Australian football field or soccer pitch, the figure displayed is yellow. If the system detects a person or an animal close to the car, which undoubtedly means that the situation is quite dangerous, the figure in the display becomes red, and you hear a warning buzzer.

At Euro Car Upgrades we all feel members of the automobile family, and our aim to make the lives of the fellow drivers here as smooth and bright as possible. We deliver a superb and reliable retrofit system that will help spot a kangaroo or a wallaby at a distance equal to the length of QE2 so that you will never have to fear for any unwanted close encounters with it again. The “eye” of the system, a thermal camera, is very well hidden under your car’s make emblem, so the line of your car will not lose its swiftness and grace. The combination of visual and acoustic signals that are non-invasive for the comfort of driving ensures a reliable protection against plenty of situations that can be not only risky but plain dangerous for drivers as well as other users of the road.

Leave the darkness behind and install Audi Night Vision Assistant with us.
