Supercharger Killer Chiller Full Kit

Killer Chiller Active Cooling System (refrigerated heat exchanger) using a supercharger and air to water intercooling.

Enjoy the following benefits with this kit:

- Impressive Horsepower Boost: Experience an average horsepower gain of around 45-50 HP, with potential for even greater increases depending on your existing modifications.

- Enhanced Cooling: The system effectively lowers intercooler fluid temperatures to approximately -7.22 degrees Celsius particularly in post-intercooler temperatures.

- Eliminate Track Drips: With the drag option, this system effectively prevents water dripping and condensation during track use.

- Timing and Boost Optimization: Our system prevents the computer from pulling timing, allowing you to run maximum timing and boost on pump gas while preventing detonation.

- Peace of Mind: Rest easy with a comprehensive 2-year warranty that ensures the longevity of your investment.

Why Killer Chiller

The way air to water intercooler systems work is quite simple. The air to water intercooler is comprised of two heat exchangers. One is downstream the supercharger, which is commonly referred to as the intercooler or aftercooler. The other heat exchanger is mounted in the front of the vehicle and is usually referred to as the heat exchanger. There is a reservoir and a pump to circulate a water antifreeze mix thru the two heat exchangers. The intercooler absorbs the heat from the supercharger and circulates the fluid to the heat exchanger up front where it sheds the heat from the water mix as close as possible to what the outside temp is.

So if it’s 90 degrees outside then the fluid will try and reach an equilibrium temperature between the outside temp and whatever the intercooler is absorbing from the supercharger. When the supercharger compresses the air charge the byproduct is heat and lots of it. Superchargers will see charge temps in the 300 to 400 degree range and so intercooling is very important to stave of pre detonation in the combustion chamber. Problem is when you increase boost you also increase the charge temp as well. The computer will monitor charge temps and when they get over 135 degrees will start pulling timing to protect the engine.

Even if you add a bigger intercooler and heat exchanger with more capacity it can only keep the charge temps down closer to the outside temps but not lower. You can reach a very high efficiency by adding a very large heat exchanger and very large intercooler with lots of fluid capacity but you will never get it below the outside temp unless you use the KC system. The KC system plumbs into the air to water intercooler system and piggy backs your vehicles AC system to lower the temperature of the fluid below the outside temp making it the most effective intercooler on the market. It will lower the charge temp below the outside temperature making it the best way to increase power safely.

Why KC? Forced induction needs active cooling. When you increase the boost you also increase the charge temps as well. They go hand and hand. The KC system is the only way to increase boost and still keep your charge temps at or below outside temps.

The most optimum setup with the KC, is to run 2 to 3 gallons of fluid with the system. The more cold fluid you have in reserve the colder the air charge temps will be. Your AC can handle a thermal mass of about 3 t0 3.5 gallons of fluid while keeping you cool inside the cab.

Keep power up by keeping charge temps down. with the KC race drag system, our best system to date. 13 inches by 38 plates.

This is our best system. If temps need to be in check look no further than the new gen-5+ race drag system.

This system is 13 inch by 38 plates with staggered 8 to 10 o-ring connections increasing the pressure differential across the system making for colder temps and twice the recovery and chill down time.
