Installation orientation: When replacing the factory plastic Bosch diverter valve, install the GFB valve in the opposite orientation: boost pressure must enter through the bottom of the valve and discharge through the side outlets. Incorrect orientation will prevent the valve from operating correctly.

GFB Hybrid T9225 Dual Outlet Diverter / Blow Off Valve
The GFB Hybrid T9225 is a dual outlet diverter and blow off valve designed for selected turbocharged Audi, Volkswagen, Saab and Ford applications.
The Hybrid uses a staged dual-port design, allowing discharged boost pressure to be managed through both the recirculation and atmosphere outlets. The valve can be configured for full recirculation, full atmosphere venting or a 50/50 combination depending on the application and desired operation.

Important Installation Information
When replacing a Bosch-style diverter valve, the GFB Hybrid must generally be installed in the opposite orientation to the original Bosch valve. Boost pressure should enter through the base of the GFB valve and discharge through the side outlets.
Incorrect installation orientation can prevent the valve from operating correctly.
Blow Off Sound
The T9225 can be configured to vent air to atmosphere, providing the characteristic blow off valve sound. It can also be configured for full recirculation or a 50/50 combination, allowing the valve to be tailored to the vehicle and application.
