Service Overview:

• DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Code) clearing is recommended after installation.

Why disable EGR?

The EGR system reintroduces used exhaust gases into the engine’s intake, reducing emissions but also increasing carbon build-up. Disabling the EGR keeps the valve shut, allowing more fresh cold air into the engine instead of recycled exhaust gases. This results in cleaner combustion, reduced soot buildup, and better throttle response.
