Holden Colorado with A 428 DOHC engine are very underpowered trucks with common DPF problems. Euro Car Upgrades can easily eliminate these problems with your engine ECU re-flash. The engine performance & DPF Off Data is located on one of the processors inside the Engine Module. Euro Car Upgrades engineer desolders the processor using specialized Infrared Soldering Device. Once the processor is de-soldered the data is read by the Chip Reader. Then Engineer changes the values on the ECU to increase power by increasing boost, diesel & air injection and deleting the DPF data which is secretly stored in hundreds of location on the chip. The processor is soldered back onto the board and secured with epoxy to avoid any movement or commercial espionage by the competition. This also secures the chip better. The engineer takes 3-4 hours to change all the data across the entire range of revs, then it can be written back onto the ECU using OBD2 port in the vehicle. Holden Colorado Chip Tuning includes scanning of the vehicle for faults before the chip and after to make sure the vehicle is ready to be chipped as well as take care of all the issues that can be addressed by a professional remap. DPF OFF requires a custom downpipe or full exhuast. The whole process can be finished off with a dyno of the Holden Colorado with out on road dyno and a good road test.
