Some cars experience persistent defects that affect a substantial portion of the model. In the case of the W204 C-Class (model years 2007–2011), one of the most problematic components is the NTG4 COMAND navigation screen. Fortunately, this faulty part was installed only in this specific model and has a distinctive feature—the screen is movable and emerges from the dashboard when the navigation system is activated. In the facelifted versions, the screen was replaced with a different model that has a significantly lower failure rate compared to its predecessor.

However, the four-year production run of cars with this defective component has left many Mercedes owners facing a difficult choice—either replace the damaged screen with a new one, which comes with a steep price, or forgo the radio and navigation system altogether.

Thanks to the efforts of our team, we’ve identified one of the key causes of the NTG4 W204 screen failures and now offer a cost-effective alternative: screen repair.
