GFB DV+ T9355 – Performance Diverter Valve for VAG Turbo Engines

Many modern Volkswagen Audi Group (VAG) turbocharged engines use electronically controlled factory diverter valves with plastic internal components. While effective when new, these factory valves can struggle to maintain a consistent seal under increased boost pressure and high operating temperatures.

The GFB DV+ T9355 is engineered to resolve these shortcomings by upgrading the internal valve mechanism while retaining the factory solenoid and ECU control strategy. Instead of replacing the entire diverter valve assembly, the DV+ replaces the weak internal components with precision-machined metal parts and an improved sealing surface.

Factory diverter valves typically operate in a binary open-or-closed manner. This can lead to abrupt boost transitions during partial throttle inputs or gear changes. The DV+ utilises GFB’s proven pilot-actuation system, allowing the valve to respond progressively to boost pressure.
