Euro Car Upgrades had a pleasure to perform a remap colloquially called Chip Tuning on a 2017 Volkswagen Amarok 3.0 TDI V6. Despite having done thousands of 3.0 TDI engines previously we approached the vehicle with caution knowing that new ECU and new Engine models have been launched with extra functions such as overboost and extra environmental features such as AdBlue.

V6 Diesel Amarok has been successfully remapped via OBD2 Diagnostic port without the need to remove the Engine Control Module (ECU). What is more, Euro Car Upgrades have achieved a Great Result like with the previous 3.0 TDI and 2.0 TDI Remaps. Amarok has gained around 37 kW and over 100 Nm. Euro Car Upgrades Engineer had the vehicle reliability and longevity as their first & foremost goal. Although the Vehicle & the Engine can cope with slightly more power, Euro Car Upgrades Engineer does not recommend further increases without taking care of Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) and Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF).
