Parking sensors, cameras and steering-wheel controls
The head unit supports a compatible optical parking-sensor display and reversing-camera installation. Camera retention depends on the existing camera's video format and wiring. Factory RGB cameras require a suitable interface or replacement with a compatible camera.
Multifunction steering-wheel integration depends on the vehicle's controls and CAN system. An adapter may be required for earlier steering wheels. Vehicles with a factory amplifier, such as Dynaudio, need the appropriate audio configuration.
Installation
Designed for compatible Volkswagen installations with the matching RCD/RNS radio opening. Radio wiring, antenna connections and existing camera equipment determine the adapters required. Earlier vehicles may also require a CAN gateway solution for correct ignition control and standby operation.
Professional coding is required when the unit is installed. Adapters and installation are available separately to suit the vehicle.
