Custom Weld-On Respons Valve With V-Band Mounting

If you’re fabricating intercooler piping and want the flexibility to place a high-performing diverter/blow-off valve exactly where it suits your setup, the GFB Respons TMS T9019 is built for the job. It uses a V-band mounting system so the valve can be mounted directly onto aluminium or stainless piping for a tidy, serviceable installation.

What’s Included (and What You Choose)

The T9019 kit includes the Respons valve and V-band clamp only. To complete the install, you select the weld-on V-band flange and outlet size that match your pipework and routing — ideal for custom builds where “one size fits all” adapters don’t make sense.

Adjust the Sound, Keep the Driveability

The Respons is more than a typical dual-port valve. Its venting bias system lets you control how much air vents to atmosphere versus recirculates back into the intake — from 100% recirculation, through to 100% atmosphere, and anywhere between. This gives you control over sound level and helps avoid the common side-effects some cars experience when venting metered air.

Faster Boost Recovery and Better Response

Using GFB’s TMS operating method, the valve stays shut until it needs to open, venting only enough air to prevent compressor surge. This can preserve boost during shifts and help the turbo return to target boost faster compared with many factory-style bypass valves.

Boost Holding You Can Rely On

Unlike valves that need different springs for different boost levels, the Respons balanced piston design resists being forced open by boost pressure, helping maintain stable boost control in high-demand setups.
