AGM-Compatible Replacement

This H6/LN3 battery uses an AGM-compatible L3 case size and may replace a compatible AGM battery when the physical dimensions, terminal arrangement, electrical requirements and vehicle charging system are suitable.

AGM compatible refers to the battery's intended replacement application and case configuration. The StratoForse battery itself uses sodium-ion chemistry rather than AGM lead-acid chemistry.

Compatibility must be checked carefully for vehicles with intelligent alternators, battery-monitoring sensors, Start Stop systems or battery-energy-management modules.

Start Stop Performance

The StratoForse-SS series is designed for vehicles requiring frequent engine restarting and increased cycling performance.

Aeson Power rates the series for up to 180,000 engine starts and approximately 3,000 cycles at 50 percent depth of discharge under its specified testing conditions.

Actual service life depends on correct battery selection, vehicle charging performance, electrical loads, operating temperature, driving conditions and storage practices.

Vehicle Compatibility

This battery may be suitable for selected vehicles originally equipped with an H6, LN3 or L3 AGM-size battery when the height, width, length, terminal arrangement, hold-down system, CCA requirement and charging specifications are compatible.

Battery fitment must not be confirmed using the H6 or LN3 designation alone. The original battery's dimensions, terminal polarity, terminal diameter, CCA rating, base hold-down and vehicle charging requirements must also be checked.

This product may be suitable for selected petrol, diesel, Start Stop and hybrid vehicles. Vehicle-specific compatibility should be confirmed before purchase.

This battery is intended for automotive engine-cranking and Start Stop applications. It is not designed for deep-cycle, UPS or standby-power use.

Coding and Battery Registration

No coding or programming is required for the battery itself.

Some vehicles require battery registration, battery-monitoring adaptation, battery-energy-management configuration or an ECU reset whenever the battery is replaced.

Where registration is required, the procedure should be completed using suitable manufacturer-compatible diagnostic equipment.

This product is AGM compatible for appropriate replacement applications but uses sodium-ion chemistry. Do not select an unsupported battery-technology setting or enter incorrect capacity information during registration.

Charging Requirements

The battery is compatible with suitable automotive alternators operating within the manufacturer's specified voltage range.

A sodium-ion-compatible or lithium-compatible smart charger is recommended for external charging.

A conventional lead-acid charger may only be used when desulphation, reconditioning, pulse-repair and recovery modes are disabled.

The recommended charging voltage is approximately 14.6V. Prolonged charging above the manufacturer's maximum voltage may reduce battery life or cause damage.

Do not use desulphation or repair modes. Sodium-ion batteries do not experience lead-acid sulphation, and high-voltage repair pulses may damage the battery cells.

This StratoForse-SS automotive battery is supplied with a 3-year warranty for eligible private or personal vehicle use.

Eligible commercial or business use is covered for 18 months under the manufacturer's current warranty terms.

The warranty period begins from the original purchase date and is subject to proof of purchase, correct battery sizing, correct installation, an approved charging profile and compliance with the applicable warranty conditions.

Damage caused by incorrect installation, unsuitable charging, vehicle electrical faults, undercharging, overcharging, physical damage or use outside the published specifications may be excluded from warranty coverage.

Installation Information

Professional installation and a complete charging-system inspection are recommended.

Before installation, confirm that the replacement battery matches the original height, width, length, terminal orientation, terminal size, hold-down arrangement and CCA requirements.

When removing the existing battery, disconnect the negative terminal first and then the positive terminal. When installing the replacement battery, connect the positive terminal first and then the negative terminal.

The battery must be securely fastened using the vehicle's correct hold-down bracket. Loose installation can damage the battery, terminals or surrounding vehicle components.

After installation, check the charging voltage, cranking performance, terminal security and vehicle electrical operation. Complete battery registration or an ECU reset where required by the vehicle.
