This swirl flap delete kit is designed for 4.2 TDI V8 engines found in Audi and Volkswagen vehicles. The factory intake manifolds use swirl flaps to improve emissions and low-load efficiency, however these components are well known to wear, loosen and eventually fail.

When swirl flaps degrade, fragments can be ingested into the engine, leading to severe internal damage including valves, pistons and cylinder heads. This kit provides a permanent solution by removing the swirl flap assemblies and replacing them with blanking hardware.

Ideal for preventative maintenance or performance-focused builds, especially on higher mileage engines where failure risk increases significantly.
