Volkswagen Amarok II TDI600 and Ford Ranger PY 3.0 V6 Diesel EGR Blanking Kit with ECU Tuning Option
The Darkside Developments DSD0322 kit blanks the connections at both ends of the original EGR transfer pipe on compatible 3.0L V6 diesel Amarok and Ranger models. It gives you the hardware for the pipe blanking job while retaining the EGR cooler.
Order the kit with the tuning you need. Select EGR Fix on Engine ECU above to add mail-in calibration to your order, then click Add to Cart. If your ECU already has a compatible EGR calibration, order the kit on its own.

Complete the installation with ECU tuning
Please Note: The factory ECU can detect the change in EGR flow after blanking and trigger a fault code or warning light. A compatible ECU remap is required for this modification.
When you add the mail-in tuning option, you send us your engine ECU for calibration. Hardware fitting is separate. Workshop fitting and tuning are also available on the Sunshine Coast.

Frequently asked questions
Can I order the kit and ECU remap together?
Yes. Select EGR Fix on Engine ECU above before adding the kit to your cart. The mail-in service requires you to send us your engine ECU.
Can I order the kit if my ECU is already tuned?
Yes. Order the hardware on its own if your existing calibration supports this EGR modification. If you already have a performance remap, confirm whether it also covers EGR operation.
Which Ranger part number should I check?
Look for JL3Q-9D477-BB on the original pipe. Ford catalogues the same pipe under service number JL3Z-9D477-B.
What happens to the original EGR cooler?
The cooler stays in place. The kit blanks the connections at either end of the original EGR transfer pipe.
