BMW N47N N47S1 N57N N57X N57Z EGR & EGR Cooler Delete Kit

This Darkside Developments EGR and EGR Cooler Delete Kit is designed for selected BMW diesel engines using the N47N, N47S1, N57N, N57X and N57Z engine variants.

The kit is designed to remove the factory EGR and EGR cooler components. Removing the EGR system can help prevent exhaust-gas-related carbon and soot buildup in the intake system and removes the factory EGR cooler from the system.

Some US-specification vehicles using EGR cooler 11717822350 may have an additional secondary EGR cooler. These vehicles require an additional blanking kit.

Important Compatibility Information

This kit does not fit MINI models. MINI vehicles using related N47N engines require a separate MINI-specific EGR and EGR cooler delete kit.

Due to variations between BMW models, engine variants and EGR cooler configurations, the vehicle VIN, chassis number and existing EGR cooler part number should be checked before ordering.

ECU Warning Light

Removing or blanking the EGR system can cause an emissions or workshop warning light because the vehicle ECU may no longer receive the expected EGR valve signal. ECU software changes may be required depending on the vehicle and intended configuration.
