Simple rule: Starter is for diagnostics, PRO is for manual coding, and ULTIMATE is for manual coding plus frequent One-Click Apps.

Starter, PRO and ULTIMATE all include the OBDeleven 2 NextGen Bluetooth diagnostic device. Moving to a higher pack does not give you a more powerful scanner.

The main difference is the software access connected to your OBDeleven account.

Every pack can perform supported basic diagnostics. PRO and ULTIMATE add advanced functions for supported Volkswagen Group vehicles, while ULTIMATE also includes broader access to One-Click Apps.

This means you should choose according to the functions you intend to use, not because one pack contains a different diagnostic interface.

The Starter Pack is the entry point into OBDeleven diagnostics. It suits owners who want to understand warning lights, scan control units, clear supported faults and view available vehicle information without needing manual coding access.

Starter is a good choice for:

• Checking faults before visiting a workshop
• Clearing a stored fault after a repair
• Scanning multiple vehicle control units

You do not need a PRO or ULTIMATE subscription to use supported basic diagnostics.

Starter does not unlock manual long coding, adaptations or Basic Settings. If those functions are the main reason you are buying OBDeleven, choose PRO or ULTIMATE instead.

The PRO Pack is aimed at experienced Volkswagen Group enthusiasts who want direct access to supported coding and adaptation functions.

PRO can add access to:

• Coding and long coding
• Sub-control-unit coding
• Adaptations and long adaptations
• Basic Settings
• Selected output tests
• Control-unit reset functions
• Security access and supported SFD unlocking

PRO provides manual access. That is different from a One-Click App, where OBDeleven has already prepared the coding sequence.

PRO does not include unlimited One-Click Apps. Those applications still require Credits unless Credits are specifically supplied with the product or purchased separately.

I want to perform long coding and adaptations

I do not understand manual coding

Starter with Credits or ULTIMATE may be easier because One-Click Apps avoid manually editing coding values.

I want a workshop-level replacement for ODIS

OBDeleven is a capable DIY and enthusiast tool, but it is not a complete replacement for manufacturer workshop equipment, guided functions, online programming or every professional diagnostic procedure.

OBDeleven is best known for supported Volkswagen Group diagnostics and coding, including Audi, Volkswagen, Škoda, SEAT and Cupra vehicles.

Compatibility still depends on:

• Vehicle model and generation
• Production year
• Installed control units
• Control-unit software
• The function being attempted
• Security systems such as SFD or newer protection

Do not assume that every coding change or One-Click App is available on every supported car.
